Does anyone have a set of Alaskan Yellow Cedar sides that they would be willing to part with? Looking for a very light colored, creamy, clear set. I'm trying to get a new side set to replace the one that I toasted this past weekend. (see my post about batting .500)

I called LMI and they have backs in stock, but no side sets.   I emailed Shane at High Mountain and he is currently trying to get some cants so he can offer some. I'm not having much luck finding any available.

I'm beginning to think that yellow cedar is a rare commodity. If anyone has any please contact me at peterj45@gmail.com

Learning as I go...
Regards,
Pete

Try Larry at Gallery Hardwoods. He seems to have everything.

Have you tried Ed at AC woods, he's also a sponsor, I bet he would have it as well.

Hey Peter,

It looks like I can pick up some of that yellow cedar this Friday. So, if you still need it I will have it and LOTS more. Looks like I may even get another flamenco build out of this deal.....I gotta get my little guitar making studio finished!!!

I will e-mail you tonight.

Thanks

Thanks to all for the tips. I did find some from Dan Minard at RC Tonewoods in BC.

Shane, I will email you as I would still like to get a few sets of B&S once you have it sawn... and also a billet for brace stock.

Learning as I go....

Regards,
Pete
